"A Dream Vacation Come True! We've stayed in plenty of vacation rentals, but this one completely blew us away! The home itself is gorgeous � spacious, spotless, and designed with such taste and care that every corner feels inviting. The kitchen, bedrooms, and living spaces had everything we needed, making it the ultimate home away from home. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Jimmy was unbelievable � incredibly attentive, accommodating, and genuinely went out of his way to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Jennifer, the chef, introduced our party to the most delicious Costa Rican dishes we've ever tasted � every bite was absolutely breathtaking. Carlos was an extraordinary host, always incredibly responsive and ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Thanks to Jimmy, Jennifer, Carlos, and the amazing team, we spent our vacation relaxing and enjoying every moment without a single worry. We left feeling spoiled, inspired, and already dreaming of coming back. If you want a vacation home where everything is seamless and you feel truly cared for, this is the one."

"Best Vacation EVER!!! I am not sure there are enough positive words to describe how amazing our week was at Villa Preciosa. We were a group of 10 very close friends celebrating some major milestones. The Villa offers stunningly beautiful views of the ocean and islands in the distance accentuated by the gorgeous infinity edge pool. We enjoyed several local activities including an amazing day on Atenea (Carlos's beautiful yacht) with lunch provided on the beach. But, the icing on the cake for all of us was Jimmy and the wonderful staff at Villa Preciosa. Jimmy was at our beck and call every day making us the best drinks, serving us at every meal, and generally taking care of our every request. Jennifer and Ana made the most delicious meals....we were amazed that every meal was better than the last! The housekeepers, Karole and Bianca, made up our rooms every day and kept the whole house tidy while being very non-intrusive....we barely noticed they were there. Also, Carlos, the Villa owner, checked in on us every day to make sure all was well. He is very accommodating and easy to work with in the planning process. At the end of the day, I could go on and on about this wonderful Villa and the amazing staff. We arrived as guests and left feeling as though we were saying goodbye to family. We are all so grateful for the memories that will stay with us always. All I can say is...Carlos, Jimmy, Jennifer, Ana, Karole and Bianca....thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Pura Vida!"

"You cannot ask for a better view and a better place to stay. Carlos, Jimmy, Jennifer and Jalene made our stay amazing. We felt like they were family. The pool and the view are spectacular. As for the food, we felt like we were eating the whole time we were there. Jennifer's pico, guac and homemade chips are the best I ever have had. They taught us how to make empanadas and even shared the recipes with us. Now let's talk about convenience. I did not have to lift a finger for any planning of excursions. Carlos connected us with all the right people. It took one email and I had transportation and all the excursions handled for me. Also convenient is the home has a nice van that was able to take us to the beach and to Coco Beach. This was also amazing as we did not want to rent a car. Hands down, this was my family's favorite and most relaxed vacation. We cannot wait to be back and look forward to another fun stay here. Pura Vida! I miss Jimmy's amazing drinks and Jennifer's amazing cooking."

"Amazing!! Highly recommend staying here. I went to Costa Rica for my 60th birthday celebration with my husband and 9 of our friends and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The rooms were spacious, the pool and the view was amazing, and the howler monkeys were entertaining in the trees next to the pool. The owner/host Carlos was always quick to respond with any questions prior to arriving. He checked in often and even went out of his way to pick up a charger when we were desperate for a wireless phone charger, due to an unfortunate water mishap with one of our phones. He helped arrange our airport transportation and gave us guidance when selecting excursions. Jennifer the chef, along with her assistant, made 3 amazing meals and snacks for us each day and they were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions. One of my friends is gluten and dairy free and another is a pescatarian and they accommodated every meal for them. Jimmy, the bartender is incredibly kind. He always had a smile on his face and was quick to make us whatever we wanted to drink and he never disappointed us when we said, 'surprise us'. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and snacks. We made so many fond memories and we hope to come back here again someday."

"Pura Vida!!! Had a great family vacation in Costa Rica. All I can say about this property is WOW!!!! Carlos the owner is such a nice man. He truly cares about you and making your vacation everything you need it to be. Jimmie, Sophia and Jose started out as extremely helpful and attentive staff but ended up as our friends. I have never been to a place that truly made you feel at home. I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Costa Rica to stay at Villa Preciosa! The country is beautiful, and the people are genuine, friendly and amazing. I left Costa Rica and Villa Preciosa with knowing the true meaning of PURA VIDA!!! Thank you, Carlos, Jimmie, Sophia and Jose. You all have become family and will remain in our lives forever."

"Family Vacation. This property is everything in the introduction, and more. Reading other reviews before we booked this beautiful home, made it clear it is extraordinary - and after first hand experience - it is! The home is a home in every sense of the word. The staff are welcoming and genuine. The owner is also and always has time to visit. There was a comfort level that was evident and made our relaxing vacation even more special. ANY request we had was graciously fulfilled, whether it was a special meal request, a beverage request, or help with an excursion. We had 3 fluent Spanish speaking individuals in our group, but as Carlos and Jimmy are fluent in English, my adult children used Spanish in conversations more out of respect than anything. Where to begin..... this was the vacation of a life time. My five adult children, their spouse, and I had so much quality time together and that is something you can't take lightly. We laughed so much and created so many memories that are precious to us forever now. Thank you does not seem to be enough for what we experienced in our 10 days - however, THANK YOU Carlos, Jimmy, Jose, Sonia, Carol and Bianca. I hope maybe someday we are able to return to see all of you again! Vaya con Dios."

"5 Stars without Exception!! Our family of 13 spent a week at Villa Preciosa to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Grandparents, kids, and grandkids (6 between the ages of 7 and 14). The villa lives up to everything that you see on the site and incredibly the staff is even better!! They are super people that cater to your every need, which can be a challenge when addressing the preferences of kids. Jimmy covers all of the bases: bartender, smoothie maker (kids favorite), driver, entertainer with an incredible, contagious personality. Jose the chef assisted by Guadalupe, is a fantastic cook! All of the meals were great! The housekeepers also kept the place immaculate! Carlos, the owner, made frequent visits to the villa to make sure that any of our needs were met. While we were there, we also made use of one of his boats which can be chartered. A snorkeling/beach activity trip followed up by a fishing charter were great! The captain and staff were super, helping the kids, always at the ready, whether fitting snorkel gear or helping with the fishing. While at the villa, you should make use of Lupita. She was fantastic, arranging for any local, and not so local activities (river falls hike, rain forest hanging bridges, coffee tour, zip lining). She has a great staff of drivers, comfortable and clean vans/buses and tour guides that made our trip over the top. Our visit truly fulfilled the meaning of the Pura Vida!!"

"Our trip to Villa Preciosa Resort exceeded our expectations. When planning a trip to a place you have never been before can require a bit of faith. My communication with Carlos was excellent. He always responded professionally no matter how many questions I asked. I was the primary guest traveling with 7 other women for a girls retreat. I was able to have Carlos plan a special day on his 53' Sea Ray for one of the guests 78th birthday. They provided snacks onboard, had 2 mates and a Captain to make sure we were safe and taken care of. We got to enjoy a beautiful sunset before returning to the Villa for a special dinner. The Chef Jennifer made a homemade chocolate cake for dessert and the Bartender/Chef Steward was beyond exceptional in his professional, respectful and friendly service. We were treated like royalty and never wanted to do a thing. The housekeeping staff Bianca and Karol, quietly cleaned behind the scenes and you hardly even saw them. It was like magic the way you left one room and returned to beds made and bathroom restocked. Every meal was served as plated service and the guacamole served as afternoon snack was so delicious. A highlight was waking up to the family of howler monkeys who I think enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed seeing them. We even learned to howl to them and by the end of the trip one even came to the tree next to the pool to say goodbye. This vacation was a dream and we hope to return again just to hear Jimmy say, 'Mucho Gusto'."
